The Memorial Congregation was established on September 19th 1983 in response to the expansion in housing in the East West Corridor and is situated in a multi-religious community. It is uncertain as to the membership at the start of the congregation but the potential for growth was evident. Unfortunately the church has not been able to attract the unchurched or persons of other religious persuasion but has mainly catered to migrant Moravians mainly from Tobago.
By 1996 the total membership was 72 and rose to 121 by 2014.
The congregation is in the process of building a sanctuary with a capacity of 250 to 300.
