Chairman Elected The 29th Provincial Synod of the Moravian Church Eastern West Indies Province elected the Rev. Dr. Cortroy Jarvis as Chairman of the Provincial Elders Conference on Monday, July 13, 2009. Bro. Jarvis was elected in the morning session in the first round of balloting. He received the required two-thirds vote, receiving fifty-five of the possible fifty-nine votes. |

Speaking after the election Bro. Jarvis expressed thanks to God for carrying him through the past twenty-three months since he was first elected Chairman. He also expressed thanks to the Synod for placing confidence in him and electing him to lead again.
Bro. Jarvis told of his passion for the growth and development of the church, especially in the area of human resources. He gave his commitment to doing in his best in the pursuit of the development of the Province.
The Synod is meeting in St. Kitts from July 10 - 18, 2009.
