Rev. Dr. Cortroy Jarvis has published his second book, LIGHTING THE FIRE. 

The book is designed to help individuals think through his or her relationship and to more clearly understand what is involved in marriage.

One of the issues addressed in Lighting the Fire is romance. Rev. Jarvis points out that the essence of romance is thinking of the other person; thinking of your partner’s needs and desires. When you delight in your partner and seek the best for him or her, your relationship takes on a truly romantic feel. Each partner feels special, cherished, loved, cared for and valued. In the final analysis, there would be passion, intense desire and fireworks in your relationship.

Lighting the Fire was launched in Antigua on December 7, 2007 at the Tim O’Reilly Auditorium, Spring Gardens. The date was of special significance as it was Rev. Jarvis’ 22nd wedding anniversary and the 16th birthday of his second daughter.

In Barbados the book was launched on January 23, 2008 at the Duncan C. Moore Educational Centre, Sharon.
