The Moravian Church Foundation is the business and investment arm of the world wide Moravian Church. It derives its income from the Dividends received from the Enterprises and these are now brought together through the Holding Companies and thence to MCFBE. Today we shall look at Jolley Holding Aruba. Jolley Holding Aruba is comprised of the following 15 companies:

  1. ADOG—ADOG leases properties to different group companies and third parties.
  2. ARUCAR — Dealership for Daihatsu and Subaru vehicles.
  3. AUTOCITY—Dealer for General Motors(Chevrolet, Pontiac and Cadillac), Isuzu and Suzuki, Subaru and AC Delco automotive parts.
  4. BSL LAUNDRY—Industrial Laundry providing services to major hotels and the hospital
  5. BSL LAUNDRY St. Maarten—Industrial Laundry providing services to major hotels and the hospital
  6. DE WIT STORES—Operates bookstores, convenience stores and tourist outlets all over the Island. There is a total of 15 shops.
  7. VAN DORP KANTOORMEUBELEN—Sells office furniture
  8. VAN DORP ARUBA—Operates bookstores, convenient stores and tourist outlets all over the Island. There is a total of 5 shops.
  9. HEDWINA’S BUGGIES—Hedwin’s is a vehicle leasing company for Topcar.
  10. INTER-ISLAND—Inter-Island (Bonaire) holds the franchise for Hertz car rental and leasing.
  11. LEO SNOG’S ENTERPRISES—Dealer for Daewoo, Ssangyong, and Volvo.
  12. LUXURY CAR RENTAL—The franchise for Hertz car rental and leasing.
  13. STERN—Dealer for General Motors.
  14. TOPCAR—Dealer for Nissan and Infinity Motors
  15. ULTIMATE AUTOMOBILES—Dealer for BMW and Landrover.

 

While this is not an exhaustive list these are the main Enterprises of the MCFBE in ARUBA. It is from these respective businesses that the MCF receives the bulk of its income in Aruba. (Next issue we shall look at Jolley Holding Curacao).
